Title 5 of the United States Code outlines the role of government organization and employees in the United States Code. It also is the Title that specifies Federal holidays (5 U.S.C. § 6103).

History
It was created by Pub.L. 89-554, 80 Stat. 378, enacted September 6, 1966. Title 5 also created the Freedom of Information Act, as well as authorized government reorganizations such as Reorganization Plan No. 3.
