The Michigan Democratic Party is the state-level party of the United States Democratic Party in Michigan. It is based in Lansing. Mark Brewer is the current Party Chair.

Current officeholders
The Michigan Democratic Party controls none of the four statewide offices and holds a minority of seats in the Michigan House of Representatives and Michigan Senate. They hold both of Michigan's U.S. Senate seats, six of the state's 15 U.S. House seats, and majorities on the State Board of Education and the elected governing boards of the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, and Wayne State University.
