Michael Massee is an American actor perhaps best known for his roles as villains in film and television.
Massee discharged the weapon that misfired and killed Brandon Lee in 1993 during filming of The Crow. The shooting was ruled an accident. After the incident, Massee was devastated and took a year off his career as a result.[1]
Massee and his wife Ellen have two children.
Career
He has provided the voice for the villain Spellbinder in The Batman animated series, as well as appearing on the television series 24 as the villain Ira Gaines. He provided the voice of Bruce Banner for the Ultimate Avengers movie, as well as the sequel Ultimate Avengers 2. He appeared in the film Seven alongside Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman, as a surly fetish club doorman. He also appeared in the 2005 NBC TV miniseries Revelations as the main antagonist. In 2006 he guest-starred in Criminal Minds as a serial killer in death row. He is currently appearing in the American TV Show FlashForward as villain D.Gibbons.
