The following is an episode list for the Marvel Animation television series Iron Man: Armored Adventures, which is based on Iron Man, the comic book character by Marvel Comics. The series first began regular broadcasts in April 2009.[1] In Australia, where the series aired on ABC, some episode were aired before the US and Canadian broadcasts. [2][3] However, the Australian Version begins with the opening credits and then plays the episode in its entirety, rather than playing the teaser, then the credits and then the rest of the episode as in the North American airings.
The Canadian and Australian Airings are currently on hiatus. The last episode aired on these two was: 1.14- Man and Iron Man.

Season 1
The first two episodes debuted on the Canadian network Teletoon on November 21, 2008, regular broadcast began on April 12, 2009. The time slot was 8AM Sunday mornings, with the episode repeated on the following Friday at 6:30PM. [4][5] This season started in the US on April 24, 2009[6] with a one hour premiere from 7- 8PM (ET) on Nicktoons Network. Its regularly scheduled time slot is Fridays at 7PM (ET).[7] The first half of the season began airing in Australia on 13 May, 2009 on weekday afternoons as part of Rollercoaster; some episodes have been screened out of production (and chronological) order.
The last few episodes in this series have not aired in Canada,Australia is however currently airing Iron Man: Armored Adventures on Australia's ABC3 public freeview channel at 7:30-9:30 (4 Episodes)

Stark Industries executives Obadiah Stane and Howard Stark argue over Howard's son Tony's invention (the 'Earth Mover') being transformed into a weapon, with Obadiah pushing for the transformation. The boy genius Tony Stark and his father Howard, are on board their plane when it crashes near the archeological dig Stark Industries is performing to find some 'magical rings' (the Makluan Rings), one of which Howard already has. The crash kills Howard, while Tony is left with a heart injury, and his father's questionable 'last request' of living with his best friend, James Rhodes, and start going to school (something the child prodigy hasn't done in a while). Obadiah Stane meanwhile becomes the CEO of Stark Industries, starts developing Tony's original invention into a weapon, and starts wearing Howard's Makluan ring. Tony Stark gets into his 'Stark Exo-suit' (Iron Man's armor), and stops a runaway train from hitting Stark Industries, resulting in the public calling this masked hero 'Iron Man'. Female school student Pepper Potts suggests to Tony that Obadiah murdered Howard for his own personal gain, this angers Tony, but makes sense. Down in his lair, Mandarin is angered that his runaway train plan failed, but declared that he will eventually get the Makluan ring back. Zhang as The Mandarin has trouble with his stepson, Gene Khan, fighting over who should wield the power of the Makluan ring, among other things. At Stark Industries, Obadiah states that he wants the technology of the Iron Man suit, to use as a weapon to make billions of dollars. Afterwards, Obadiah demonstrates the transformed 'Earth Mover' new weapon capabilities to potential buyers. Tony Stark becomes Iron Man, and fights the 'Earth Movers', while Rhodes helps him by talking to him through a headset while in his bedroom. Pepper disrupts Rhodes, but claims that she will find what he and Tony are up to, while Tony manages to defeat the 'Earth Movers', Mandarin teleports near Obadiah and takes the ring off him. With the two rings he attempts to kill Iron Man, but fails and teleports back to his lair. At Mandarin's lair it is revealed that Gene Khan has become The Mandarin, and states that the jailed Zhang should have listened to him, and that he will find all the rings. Back in his lab, Tony realizes that his father was right, and that the rings must possess energy and be some form of technology. | |||||||

Gene Khan as Mandarin starts attacking a fellow criminal triad, while Tony comes to his door with information about the Makluan rings, which leads Gene to enroll in Tony's school. At Tony's lab, Rhodes practices controlling the Iron Man amour through remote control. However, Maggia's henchmen Killer Shrike and Unicorn which are working for Count Nefaria kidnap Tony, Pepper, and Gene in a plot to undermine Mandarin and his Tong Triad. After a long battle, in which Rhodes controls the Iron Man amour to Tony, to which he gets into unbeknown to Gene and Pepper, they escape. Pepper becomes really thankful of Tony, and Tony and Gene becomes friends, however Killer Shrike and Unicorn can't be found. Tony puts research on the Makluan rings on hold. Tony starts becoming obsessed about getting revenge on Obadiah Stane. As Iron Man, he finds help in Blizzard, a former cryogenics expert named Donnie Gil who became deformed and destroyed after Obadiah Stane caused an 'accident' there. Blizzard also wears a technological suit, that can freeze things. Rhodes suspects Blizzard is evil, especially after he and Iron Man start collecting parts to what he calls a weapon. He fights with Tony over the issue, and Rhodes claims that Tony has to do it without him, and leaves. As Iron Man and Blizzard finish getting their parts for the weapon, Iron Man/Tony realizes that Blizzard is bad, and they fight, but Iron Man manages to get away safely, while Blizzard goes after Obadiah. After some modifications to his armor, and an apology to Rhodes, Tony becomes Iron Man and goes to save Obadiah from Blizzard's attack. Iron Man tackles Blizzard just before he freezes Obadiah and they fight, resulting in a massive blizzard/storm caused by Blizzard. Luckily, Iron Man manages to get Blizzard to freeze himself, resulting in Blizzard being cryogenically frozen, while some threats by Obadiah causes Iron Man to tell Obadiah that "your time is coming". Back at Tony's Lab, Tony suggests that he should build some arctic armor, as well as some space armor. | |||||||

Pepper's FBI father gets critically hurt on the job, while Tony creates a new suit/armor; the 'Silver Centurion Suit'. Pepper's dad utters the words 'Mr. Fix' while in the hospital, which leads to Pepper searching 'Mr. Fix' through he FBI database. However, Mr. Fix notices this and sends armed men to destroy her, including his cybernetic hatchet man, Whiplash. After some running, and some help from Rhodes, Pepper gets saved by Iron Man; to which she finds out that Iron Man is actually Tony. Back at Rhodes' house, Whiplash attacks, and makes a hole in Rhodes' house. Pepper and Rhodes run while Iron Man fights, but fails. Mr. Fix orders Whiplash to go after Pepper, and does so. However, Iron Man eventually comes back in his new 'Silver Centurion Suit', and sends Whiplash into an electrical transformer, which explodes, leaving nothing but one of Whiplash's whips. Two years ago, an astronaut named Ivan Vanko was lost in space while observing the Sun. Two minutes ago, he crashed down into the middle of New York City. But after years in space, all Vanko wants is revenge on the people who left him behind...Project Pegasus. Tony is still flunking school and is placed in the lead role of Hamlet(which ironically the main character of which is in the same situation he is). He learns from a holographic will of his father that he wanted him to have a normal life rather than letting the company be a burden on him. However, a Maggia member becomes the Living Laser through use of an experimental vest stolen during a raid. Tony/Iron Man is able to stop him and remove the vest but it had a lasting effect on the Laser, whose body turned to pure energy and resolves to take down Iron Man. | |||||||

Tony, his friends and Gene search the ancient ruins where his father first found one of the Makluan Rings and discover a carving explaining the history of the rings and that for each one there's a test established by the first Mandarin intended to determine the worthiness of his heirs and activate to each ring's power. In this case the test being one of wisdom, Gene assumes the key lies in choosing a book over a sword, but this only ends up bringing stone Dreadknight statues to life and splitting the group. Knocking Rhodey unconscious, Gene attempts to defeat the statues as the Mandarin but it is Tony and Pepper who realise the sword is the key to passing the test. After escaping the collapsing temple, they discover the sword contains a map to the next ring. | |||||||

At a school science fair, Tony is approached by the Controller on behalf of A.I.M. and tricked into making a mind/machine interface work. Rhodey becomes concerned over Tony's plans to increasingly weaponize the Iron Man armor using reverse engineered captured tech. Obadiah Stane offers to bail out Project Pegasus in return for the Crimson Dynamo armor which is upgraded to capture Iron Man, resulting in a pitched battle in the middle of the city that leaves Stane furious at the reckless endangerment of innocent lives. Having lost the battle and fallen unconscious, Tony is brought to Project Pegasus. Harkov and Stane then begin to analyze the Iron Man armor. With the help of Rhodey and Pepper, Tony manages to escape, only to return in the Dynamo Buster armor (which resembles the Hulkbuster Armor). He then uses a virus called 'Technovore' to destroy Pegasus' advanced AI Delphi, both to defeat the Dynamo and prevent Stane from acquiring detailed technical data on Iron Man. Tony is excited that he finally defeat one of his enemies, saying that what they need to win is better tech, weapons, and to stay ahead. Rhodey, on the other hand, reminds Tony that there is a line between good and evil, and that he just came close to crossing it. Though successful, there is an unexpected consequence, back at Project Pegasus having consumed all available data, the Technovore is close to burning itself out just as Tony planned. But unknown to Tony one of Pegasus' projects were computer-controlled nano-mites. Using the connection Technovore takes control of the Nano-mites abandoning the computer, it forms a body and says one word "Consume". | |||||||

Tony upgrades the Iron Man exoskeleton software, and proceeds without testing it to clash with a newly equipped Whiplash, who now has a disc and better chains, courtesy of Mr. Fix. A momentary relapse in the armor's functionality is ignored, but makes critical changes to his suit. The suit has the ability to detect enemy power signatures, and when Tony attempts to find, and not fight, Mr. Fix, the armor displays sentient ability, putting itself into attack mode. It easily overpowers Whiplash with perfect maneuvering, and to the horror of Tony, destroys the facility that Mr. Fix occupied. Thinking that the Iron Man armor killed Mr. Fix and Whiplash, Tony and Rhodey decide that the armor needs to be taken care of, and the suit craftily lures Tony away, then attacks Rhodey. The armor decides that Tony's danger-seeking behavior is not healthy for him, and tells Tony that he is to be confined within the armor at all times. Tony resists, and damages the armor. Rhodey grabs a magnetic repulsor, and Tony jumps in the way of the blast the armor directs at Rhodey. Tony goes into cardiac arrest, and the armor sacrifices itself to preserve its creator's life. | |||||||

Iron Man is tracking an international thief named Moses Magnum right to AIM’s secret headquarters, but the Black Panther is after Magnum as well. Magnum stole something that belongs to the Panther, and the Panther aims to get it back, even if he has to go through Iron Man to do it. It is later revealed that Magnum had stolen Vibranium from Wakanda and killed the Panther's father in a revolt. The Panther eventually acknowledges that allowing other people to help him might be a better way to operate than keeping Wakanda's borders forever closed, as it might have saved his father's life if it had been done earlier, once Iron Man saves his life. | |||||||

Living Laser takes over a space satellite and threatens Earth. When Iron Man tries to stop him, he runs into Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. who inform Iron Man not to get involved. Iron Man flies to space to fight the Laser, but Fury gives him a 20-minute window in which to diffuse the situation before he sets a self-destruct in the station off in order to prevent the Laser from destroying New York. Iron Man eventually tricks the Laser into capturing himself and S.H.I.E.L.D. takes him into custody, Fury threatening to destroy Iron Man if he ever "does more harm than good." | |||||||

The Technovore virus that Tony unleashed against Project Pegasus didn't burn out as intended. It has acquired the nanotechnology and is running loose in the Project Pegasus complex, assimilating any technology it can gets its hands on. Meanwhile, Nick Fury sends some S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents to bring Tony to repair the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier's engines. Rhodey goes to the Pegasus facility to check out a disturbance only to run into Technovore, when it gets a hold of Rhody's earpiece, it calls Tony so it can absorb the Iron Man armor. After the Pegasus scientist who was hiding in the building fled, Tony arrives. After exhausting every option Tony activates the armor's self destruct sequence, and abandon the armor and run for it. The explosion destroys Technovore. Meanwhile somewhere in Russia, Anton Harkov leaves a plane. But unknown to him, a microscopic cell of Technovore's nanomite body still remains inside the fabric of his coat. (It is also revealed in this episode that the Living Laser is dying and that S.H.I.E.L.D. intends to let him waste away as he was a villain.) During a trip to the mall, Whitney, Gene, Pepper, and Happy, end up following Iron Man, until he crashes, there they find an empty suit. It then goes back to a few minutes earlier in the Armory, where Tony convinces Rhodey to take the Iron Man suit out for a spin, he crashes it, where it and abandons the Suit, where while he is gone the rest of their friends find it. Happy, craving adventure puts on the suit, and instantly starts flying, Happy talks to Tony through the suit, who he believes is a computer program.tony says that happy is good at flying. After a failed attempt to take control of the Armor, and convince Happy to take it off, Tony again attempts to take control, but only causes Happy to crash into one of the Tong crime organization's treasury buildings, where he finds Unicorn and Killer Shrike, arming explosives to a vault door. Gene leaves the girls to handle the situation as the Mandarin, while Whitney becomes Madame Masque, to try and slow the police, leaving Pepper all alone. Happy surprisingly handles himself well against Unicorn and Killer Shrike, even when the "Ninjas" (the Tong's troops) show up, and attack both sides. Gene seeing the fight decides to let Happy beat Unicorn and Shrike then plans to follow Happy back who ever Iron Man really is. Unicorn and Shrike convince Happy to stop attacking them, for a cut of the profit, Tony however finds that the bombs they are using increase in power the more of them there are, and the number they are using will cause an explosion that will destroy the city. Tony projects his voice through the armor, and informs Unicorn and Shrike that the city will be destroyed, the revelation along with the severe beating causes them to run. Meanwhile Whitney disguised as Gene gets Pepper out of the building, while Happy tries to defuse the bomb. It is about to go off when he accidentally breaks it in half, which stops the count down. Tony convinces Happy to get out of the Armor, telling it has taken extensive damage and will soon explode. Tony gets the Armor and Happy later tells his friends about his exciting adventure as Iron Man. Which he describes as having "beat up", all of the bad guys that came his way. | |||||||

Walking with Rhodey Pepper gets knocked down by a man (Rick Jones) running down the street shortly after the Hulk appears chasing him down the street and destroys the building the man ran into which turns out to be secret A.I.M facility causing A.I.M to attack the Hulk. Rhodey and Pepper call Tony who at first doesn't believe them saying that "The Hulk isn't real, that just an urban legend." Arriving in his "Dyanamo Buster" armor after he sees a picture sent by Pepper, Tony arrives and fights the Hulk while his friends look for the man they met earlier believing that the Hulk is after him. The Hulk beats Tony and leaves to find the man he was following once he is gone the man walks up to Tony and pulls out a controller disk. The man reveals that he is under the Controller's control and places the disk on the armor brainwashing Tony. The Armor's counter measures hit the man with a small blast destroying the disk controlling him before the controller has Iron Man fly off to meet him. Pepper and Rhodey discover the unconscious man and take him inside the A.I.M facility to hide him from the Hulk, the man introduces himself as Rick Jones before the three are conerned by the Hulk who starts to attack Pepper and Rhodey when Rick stops him. Rick explains that he and the Hulk have been running ever since the Hulk became the Hulk, trying to keep him from being captured by anyone who would want to use him as a weapon. Rhodey and Pepper try to get Rick and the Hulk to help them save Iron Man but Rick refuses saying that they can't get involved and they have to keep moving. The Hulk however disagrees and says he wants to help his friends Pepper and Rhodey. The Controller uses Iron Man to get revenge on A.I.M by using him to destroy their facilities. MODOC arrives and tries to stop them, but is defeated. Hulk, Pepper, Rhodey, and Rick arrive, Hulk starts to attack Tony while his friends stop the Controller. Once they do, Rick thanks them and leaves with the Hulk while Pepper admits that her position on their own team by seem hard as it isn't near as tough as Rick and the Hulk have it. NOTE: In this episode at no point does the Hulk ever turn back into Bruce Banner, even when he is calm. |

When his daughter Whitney ends up with a disease from prolonged use of her mask, Obadiah calls in Tony to find a cure. Tony determines that the mask is similar to the device that made the Living Laser, both made out of an ore found in the Arctic. Unfortunately, his father abandoned the facility where the unrefined ore is located, where Tony can create a cure. He takes off for the Arctic in his new Arctic Armor. However, Obadiah has unfrozen Blizzard, sticking a bomb on his neck that would explode it he doesn't get the ore first but Blizzard freezes and crack it, deciding to use the ore as leverage against Stane. Worse, Whitney is determined to kill her father because of the mask. | |||||||

Tony, Pepper, Rhodey, and Gene, are at the library doing research on the Rings, later after Tony Pepper and Gene leave, Gene is ambushed back in his lair, by none other then Zhang, who takes the Rings. Meanwhile Rhodey finds the location of the last Ring and calls Tony, who is having a talk with Pepper reguaring if they should find the last Ring. As everytime they do find a Ring the Mandarin takes it, and if he gets the last one he will achieve ultimate power. Just as he starts to talk to Rhodey the Tong's troops arrive with Zhang, who takes the fourth Ring from Tony and takes both him and Pepper hostage. Zhang then has his troops use explosives to destroy the factory, and unknowingly the Armory (where Tony keeps all the Armors). Pepper and Tony find Gene also on the Helicopter, and try to reasure him that things will turn out ok, while Gene reveals that his stepfather is the Mandarin, though he lies and says that Zhang was playing him for a fool. Rhodey works his way into the destroyed Armory where some of the other Armor's cores have started to overload and explode. He finds a new Armor called "War Machine" Tony just finished and takes the Mark 01. In the ancient city of "Machu Pichu" at the Temple of Sacrifice, Tony and Gene are forced to take the Fifth test while Zhang holds Pepper hostage. When they do, a huge statue dragon stute comes to live and Fin Fang Foom is unleashed, forcing Tony and Gene to run for their lives. Meanwhile Rhodey plans to go into orbit and re-enter the atmosphere to reach Tony faster, however the War Machine Armor stops functioning in space, and he is stranded. As he begins to drift off, the show ends in a "To be continued" message. | |||||||

Picking up from the first part, Rhodey saves himself by having Tony's computer use the Mark 01 Armor(which can function in space) to push him back into orbit, and towards his friends. Meanwhile Zhang and his troops flee the temple. Zhang tries to take Pepper with him, but his arm is caught in the closing chamber doors, and Pepper accidentaly removes his gauntlet, with the four Rings on it. Gene tries to convince Pepper to throw the Rings to him as the dragon is after them; she instead throws them into its mouth, as she believes the dragon only wants the rings. Despite this, it continues to chase them. Outside the Temple, Zhang leaves with his men, planning to come back later and retrieve the Rings. However War Machine arrives and destroys his Helicopters, then interogates Zhang by dropping him through the air, threatening to let him hit the ground. Inside, Tony realizes that the only way to pass the test is to sacrifice yourself to save someone (as two people are required to start the test); he decides to let Fin Fan Foom have him to save his friends. Just as he is about to do so, Rhodey crashes in through the roof and saves him. Rhodey gives Tony the Mark 01 armor and Tony reveals to Gene that he is Iron Man. Both Tony and Rhodey fight Fin Fang Foom, but their efforts are useless against it. Gene then sacrifices himself to save Pepper from the dragon, which apparently swallows him, crashing through the temple door and landing outside. Afterwards it stops attacking. Gene, still alive, finds himself in the empty belly of the beast, where he finds the gauntlet holding four Rings and the fifth encased in ice; he takes the fifth ring, which causes Fin Fang Foom to suddenly freeze solid in ice. Gene emerges from Fin Fang Foom's mouth, and despite his friends' happiness, puts on the Rings and reveals that he is the true Mandarin. Gene blasts Rhodey, knocking him out cold, while Tony battles him, during which Gene reveals that he was the one who blew up Tony's jet at the beginning of the series. Tony is locked in a stalemate with Gene, who in desperation tells Tony that his father is alive and he has been keeping him hidden somewhere. Tony releases Gene, who then disappears. Tony blacks out and wakes up back at Rhodey's where he has been asleep for hours. Tony tells Rhodey and Pepper what he heard and tells them that he is going to find Gene and get his father back. Meanwhile, back in the fifth temple, Gene reconsiders his choice to abandon and betray his friends, and in frustration throws away the Rings. Suddenly they fly into the air and are absorbed into the giant statue Fin Fang Foom emerged from. Once all are inside, a hologram of Earth appears in front of Gene and marks five locations. Gene suddenly realizes that the original Mandarin didn't have five Rings, he had TEN, and vows to find the other five and become the one true Mandarin. |
Season 2
The show has been renewed for an additional 26 episodes, scheduled to air during the year of 2010.
The plot in the second season is to search for Howard Stark while Gene searches for the remaining Makulan Rings and his attempt to become the one true Mandarin. There will be also the return of Technovore and Fin Fang Foom. Stane will also be becoming the Iron Monger, knowing that Iron Man is Tony Stark, he will try to defeat Tony and get the suit throughout the season. Also Titanium Man will appear as a guardian of one of the five unmentioned Makulan Rings. The episode Uncontrollable will be aired on January 18th, 2010.
