Mable Elmore is a Canadian politician, who was elected as a New Democratic Member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia in the 2009 provincial election, representing the riding of Vancouver-Kensington.
She is the first Filipina woman ever elected to the provincial legislature[1], and, after Jenn McGinn, the second lesbian.[2]
Prior to her election to the legislature, Elmore was a bus driver with TransLink and an activist in the employee union.
