Taylor Griffin (born April 18, 1986 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) is an American professional basketball player from the University of Oklahoma. He currently plays for the Phoenix Suns of the NBA.
With his brother, standout power forward Blake Griffin, Taylor Griffin helped lead Oklahoma to the Elite Eight of the 2009 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. As a senior, he averaged 9.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.3 steals a game with 53.6% field goal shooting, and 35.7% three-point field goal shooting.[2] He was drafted with the 48th overall pick of the 2009 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns.[3] He was also drafted by the Harlem Globetrotters on June 22, 2009.[4]
Griffin has split the 2009–10 season with the Suns and their NBDL affiliate, the Iowa Energy.[5][6]
