Ersan İlyasova (born May 15, 1987 in Eskişehir, Turkey) is a Turkish professional basketball player currently on the roster of the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks. He is 6'10" (2.08 m) in height.[1][2]

Pro career
Turkey
İlyasova played professionally in the Turkish League with Ülkerspor during the 2004-05 season, averaging 4.5 points and 3.2 rebounds in eleven games.[3]
NBA
İlyasova was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round (36th overall) of the 2005 NBA Draft and signed a two-year contract with them on August 23, 2005. İlyasova did not play in an NBA game during the 2005-06 season. He was instead assigned to the Bucks' affiliated D-League team, the Tulsa 66ers,[4] where he played 46 games and averaged 12.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.[5]
İlyasova made his NBA debut on November 1, 2006 as a member of the Bucks. At the end of the season, İlyasova left the Bucks to play for FC Barcelona in the Liga ACB and Euroleague.
Spain
On June 16, 2007, İlyasova accepted a two-year contract with Liga ACB club FC Barcelona.[6] He was the first Turkish player in team history.[7]
Return to the NBA
In July 2009, İlyasova returned to the Bucks, signing a three-year $7 million contract.[8][9]
Turkish national team
Before İlyasova was chosen to play for the senior Turkish national team, he was named the MVP of the 2006 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship, after leading Turkey's junior national team to a silver medal in İzmir.[10]
