'''Caspar Bartholin the Younger''' (1655 – 1738), was a Danish Anatomist who first described the "Bartholin's_gland" in the 17th_century. Born in Copenhagen.
He is grandson of theologian and Anatomist Caspar Bartholin (''the Elder'') and son of Thomas_Bartholin.
The discovery is sometimes mistakenly credited to his grandfather, ''Bartholin the Elder''.
In about 1696, Jacob B. Winsløw was Bartholin's Prosector.
