Guillermo Segundo (Pérez) Rodríguez (born May 15, 1978 in Barquisimeto, Venezuela) is a backup catcher who plays for the San Francisco Giants organization. Listed at 5' 11", 195 lb., he bats and throws right handed.
Rodríguez is a 12-year minor league veteran who made his major league debut with San Francisco on June 13, 2007. He was called up as a replacement for injured catcher and fellow countryman Eliézer Alfonzo. He has played in four different levels with the Giants organization, including parts of three seasons for Triple-A Fresno Grizzlies.
