The Cyrillic letter '''Oe''' or '''Barred O''' (Ө, ө) is an O with a horizontal line through it. Despite having a similar shape, it is neither related to the letter Theta (Θ,θ) of the Greek_alphabet nor the archaic Cyrillic letter Fita ({{Unicode|Ѳ,ѳ}}). It is used in Bashkir, Kalmyk, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Mongolian, Buryat and Yakut, where it represents the Open-mid_front_rounded_vowel {{IPA|/œ/}}. In Kazakh, this letter may also represent {{IPA|/wʉ/}}.
