Countess Joanna Zaria Nicoline Milou van Oranje-Nassau, Jonkvrouwe van Amsberg (born June 18, 2006 in London[1]) is the second child of TRH Prince Friso and Princess Mabel of Orange-Nassau. She is a granddaughter of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands and her late husband, Prince Claus.
Names
- Joanna refers to her father, Johan Friso.
- Zaria refers to the Slavonian goddess, Zaria.
- Nicoline is the name of her mother's sister.
- Milou refers to Princess Marie Louise of Hesse-Kassel (1688-1765), the wife of Johan Willem Friso, Prince of Orange, the stadholder of Friesland.
Christening
Zaria was christened by Huub Oosterhuis on February 3, 2007 at Huis ten Bosch Palace in The Hague.
