High degree of overlap in articles edited (e.g., same set of small towns in California, minor baseball teams, demographics)--see contribs for each. Similar style of editing--adding unsourced information. The IP editor made more than 200 edits over a three week period, many of which were unsourced additions to article space. This was highly disruptive.
Note that in many cases, the pages were edited first by Mike D and then by the IP editor. So it was not a case of Mike D following the IP editor to clean up mistakes. Examples:
California Collegiate League, Southern California Collegiate Baseball Association, List of gay villages, Indio, California, Coachella Valley
Note that Mike D actually placed a warning [1] on the IP editor's talk page. When Mike D was asked [2] whether he was the same as the IP editor, he denied it [3]

The mistakes corrected and sources rechecked, the errors were removed and new correct answers verified. Other edits involve overlaps of time to ensure proper grammar and spelling. Mike D 26 (talk) 16:25, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
I apologize for what I did...he caught me, the ISP match and all, and take full responsbility. Mike D 26 (talk) 16:27, 30 April 2012 (UTC)
What I done when I returned to Wikipedia after a year off, was lazy and sloppy. I think I learned my lesson, and Logical Cowboy never known me as an old returning Wikipedian with a 6-year old account. Mike D 26 (talk) 17:31, 30 April 2012 (UTC)

Edits on similar topics, demographics and Inland Empire, California, as before, with similar (unsourced) style. IP was previously given a "final warning" to not make logged out edits [4]. Logical Cowboy (talk) 05:14, 6 September 2012 (UTC)

Hello LogicalCowboy, I no longer use the Mike D account. Should I delete the other account (how can you delete a wikipedia account because I don't know how) and start a new one? I don't know at this point, but I took care of the previous edits by planting the needed sources to them. Thanks for reminding me, anyway. 71.102.21.238 (talk) 07:48, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
- Actually, you did not take care of the previous edits. You made more than a dozen unsourced additions in May, June, July, and August. This was after repeated requests and warning to not do this. Are you going to go back and clean up your unsourced additions from the past four months? I don't understand why you keep on making unsourced edits, after you admitted that it is "sloppy" do so [5]. Nor do I understand why you keep on editing logged off, after a "final warning" from an admin to not do so. Logical Cowboy (talk) 16:33, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
- I'm gonna try or have the ones inable to be defined a sourced edit deleted, that's what I can do. 71.102.21.238 (talk) 00:34, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
- After checking ALL my edits in the last 3-some months, the majority of them have sources provided to back them and my reason to add "Citation needed" is to encourage other wikipedians such as you to assist on providing sources. Not all of the sources are available on the internet, which is called WP:OR (Original research). My apologies on a dozen of them have no sources, so I suppose they have to be removed. 71.102.21.238 (talk) 08:51, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

- Since your "no longer usering the Mike D account", i've set a block to enforce that. -- DQ (ʞlɐʇ) 18:54, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
