They all seem to edit same pages and add unsourced material. User is totally non-responsive to the list of comments and warnings on his page as well, so can not ask him. And they seem to interleave their edits. History2007 (talk) 14:20, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

- This multi-user account needs a "personal butler" to clean up after them as they "invent material". The amount of effort it has taken to clean up this rampant series of edits is amazing. This effort could have gone to better, productive use. This group of people (whoever they are) just "invent things", and just walk over WP:RS at will. They invented a new doctrine here, and on the now deleted talk page there, even admitted that it was "a pious invention". As I said on the Afd page, these peopel eat up time faster than Pac-Man gobbles up things. They are a detriment to progress in Wikipedia, and are turning it into Inventopedia with new inventions of their own. History2007 (talk) 21:28, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

This user was edit-warring on Lent earlier today. Then the IP picked up where the user left off. A massive edit war ensued. Drmies semi-protected the article. I put the material back in that this editor and the IP had been edit-warring out. The named user reverted me immediately, I started a section on the talk page to discuss, but the named user has not yet engaged there. It seems clear that the two are the same and the named user is editing while logged out to avoid scrutiny. — alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 04:25, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

Please note that LimosaCorel was named as a sockmaster in Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/LimosaCorel. First edit ever was to create a Philippines-Marian-Catholic-related article. Then there was a church in the Philippines. Archdiocese of Manila. There is similarity between the user profiles of LimosaCorel and LoveforMary`and Lloydbaltazar], for the times of day of activity on Wikipedia. The geographical location of the IP 2606:6000:80c1:6900:xxx edits is consonant with the idea that they are by the same user logged out and continuing to edit the same articles, before logging in again. The interests of LimosaCorel have similarity with those of LoveforMary and Lloybaltazar and HeartyBowl1989 and Succursu and Tomlin87721. Esoglou (talk) 10:40, 1 April 2014 (UTC)

- Clerk note: LimosaCorel's editing patterns look quite suspicious based on the evidence provided. However, given that we can't run a CheckUser (the master and all known socks are stale), we have to be very certain based on behavioral evidence alone to block, especially since LimosaCorel has been here since 2012. Requesting the opinion of another clerk. King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 00:54, 1 April 2014 (UTC)
- @King of Hearts: I'm comfortable enough with the evidence provided that LimosaCorel is a sock of Lloydbaltazar, the editing pattern, interest area, focus on Immaculate Conception plus the times of day that the edits are made. Same affection for the Immaculate Conception, same affinity for Filipino Marian topics, IP address in question geolocates to Southern California, although it is a bit north of the previous ones. IPv4 and username are the same person because they share edits to Papal bull, Santo Niño de Cebú, and List of Images with Canonical Coronation (newly created, obscure article). IP 2605:E000:2181:A400:... is identical with that involved in the 31 March 2014 investigation. The editing history of Crowned Marian images in the Philippines shows an identity between TreasureIslandMediaBoss and the user of IP 2605:E000:2181:A400:... The coincidence of interests and of IP suggests that TreasureIslandMediaBoss is indeed the same editor as LimosaCorel, who was blocked indefinitely as a LloydBaltazar sock.
IP 172.249.58.187 is geographically distinct from IP 2605:E000:2181:A400:... but, as Elizium says, it more or less fits some IPs involved in earlier LloydBalthazar investigations, and there is a general coincidence of interests between each of the three groups of edits that Elizium23 now mentions and those of earlier LloyBalthazar socks. The difference in the time patterns of the editing by TreasureIslandMediaBoss and IP 2605:E000:2181:A400:... on the one hand and IP 172.249.58.187 on the other fits the difference between east and west of the United States. I cannot judge whether the short gap between the edit at 02:40 UTC today in the east and that at 05:23 UTC in the west is explainable by travel or in some other way, or whether on the contrary it shows that the editors were not identical. Esoglou (talk) 11:02, 3 September 2014 (UTC)
I think there were similar geographical conundrums in earlier LloydBaltazar investigations, but I beg to be excused from checking just now the accuracy of my memory. Esoglou (talk) 11:05, 3 September 2014 (UTC)
That TreasureIslandMediaBoss is using IP 172.249.58.187 is made even more evident by his continuing as an IP editor his heated conversation as TreasureIslandMediaBoss here. Perhaps his immediate deletion of that edit as an IP editor was due to finding he had logged out from his user name. Esoglou (talk) 07:35, 5 September 2014 (UTC)

Additional information needed. In order to facilitate and expedite your request, please provide diffs to support your case. Please give two or more diffs meeting the following format:
- At least one diff is from the sockmaster (or an account already blocked as a confirmed sockpuppet of the sockmaster), showing the behaviour characteristic of the sockmaster.
- At least one diff per suspected sockpuppet, showing the suspected sockpuppet emulating the behaviour of the sockmaster given in the first diff.

Unsourced additions to articles on the Philippines, Marian devotions of Catholicism, and the intersection of the two. LoveforMary example, current sockpuppet example. Likes to add images with dubious copyright status, lately they are being uploaded by another sockpuppet to Commons and claimed as "Own work". - I've blocked the account for vandalism. The IP hasn't been active in the past few days, so I don't think a block is needed. Mike V • Talk 02:50, 15 December 2016 (UTC)

Uploaded the same copyright issue image on Commons, but in different filename, TreasureIslandMediaBoss diff, SeoulKing diff and IP 104.172.188.15 diff at Nichiren's article, ping to Commons admin @Y.haruo: have the intervening investigations. SA 13 Bro (talk) 23:27, 16 June 2018 (UTC)

- TreasureIslandMediaBoss created the account SeoulKing to unload the same image in different filename; NichirenPortrait.jpg, Dai Nichiren Taisekiji Sohonzan.png, and inserted the same image in different filename at Nichiren's article, which was previously has request for deletion due to copyright issue on Commons. As for IP 104.172.188.15 was his log out editing activities, I have no any comment on the IP. SA 13 Bro (talk) 18:34, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- JamesBWatson, thank you for taking a closer look into this case. Yes, the edits of this sock-farm are disruptive, they add large amounts of OR and unsourced content to articles related to Nichiren, catholic Saints/statues etc. and beauty pageant related articles. They also evaded an indefinite block of Tokuburai [15] [16].
- Tokuburai was indefinitely blocked for vandalism by MikeV in this SPI. When MikeV reverted one of Tokuburais last edits [17], he was quickly reverted by 104.172.176.238 [18]. This resulted in a block of 104.172.176.238 for block evasion [19].
- Tokuburai´s SPI shows the involvement of the 2605:E000:218A:2D00:* IP range [20] which is used together with the 104.172.* range for disruptive editing (systematic addition of OR and unsourced content) in articles related to Nichiren (example 1 example 2), beauty pageants and catholic saints/statues/churches (example: [21] and commentary by Drmies [22]). The IP range 2605:E000:2198:DF00:* shows some of his recent activities [23] which include this addition of OR today. JimRenge (talk) 19:23, 22 June 2018 (UTC)

- Clerk declined - TreasureIslandMediaBoss is Stale. Sir Sputnik (talk) 00:00, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
- @SA 13 Bro: you seem to be saying that evidence on Commons suggests that these are all the same person. Even if they are, can you provide any evidence that the combination of two accounts and IP editing has been used abusively on English Wikipedia? If not then there is nothing to do here. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 14:24, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- The accounts and IP address have clearly all been used by one person, but I was about to decline this report as no evidence has been given that they have been used abusively on Wikipedia. (What may or may not have happened at commons is not our concern.) However, I decided to have a look at the editing history, and found that SeoulKing and the listed IP address have been jointly used for edit-warring. Since TreasureIslandMediaBoss had previously been blocked for doing precisely the same thing with a different but related IP address, I have blocked SeoulKing indefinitely and the IP address temporarily. I shall also block TreasureIslandMediaBoss indefinitely. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 21:25, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
- For the record, it seems likely that this person may also have abused other accounts, as can be seen at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Lloydbaltazar/Archive. No one report there had sufficiently convincing evidence to justify any action, but the combination of evidence of links several times is strongly suggestive. Clerk assistance requested: The more I see about this case the more complicated it gets. Thank you, JimRenge for the information you have given. Almost all the edits from the range 2605:E000:2198:DF00:0:0:0:0/64 have clearly been from this person, and it seems very likely that the other few are too, just not so obviously, so I have blocked that range for three months. I have also looked further at various sockpuppet investigations. It seems certain that the sockpuppeteer in this case is the same one as in Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Tokuburai/Archive and Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/LimosaCorel, and far more likely than not that it's also the same person at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Lloydbaltazar. The degree of similarity in both choice of editing topics and type of editing on those topics seems too great to believe that they are not all the same person, and when we add to that the fact that every one of those cases has included IP addresses allocated to the same ISP and geolocating to the same city, it becomes pretty certain. I therefore wonder whether a clerk might consider whether it's worth merging some or all of these SPIs. (If all these are indeed one sockmaster, then it is a very much a long term abuse case, with the problem going back at least as far as July 2007.) The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 20:53, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
- Clerk note: thanks for the analysis, JamesBWatson. I have found in addition:
- LimosaCorel (talk · contribs) is already tagged as a sock of Lloydbaltazar and should have been merged ages ago.
- I'm finding inconsistencies in the geolocation. I have batches which among themselves consistently locate to one of three cities, but those cities are not close together. However, this geographic inconsistency seems to have been analyzed already in years past in the Lloydbaltazar case, and it was justifiably concluded then that this was evidence of a user who travels or has responsibilities in different places, rather than several individuals.
- I agree that the topic focus and technical overlaps between all of the cases suggest one user is responsible for all four, and I am in the process of merging to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Lloydbaltazar.
I only see accounts going back to 2011; if there is an older case please let me know.

SPA accounts and IPs editing in beauty pageants, sometimes mobile edits, and in some instances edit warring as well as adding unreferenced content. Strong editor interaction with TreasureIslandMediaBoss. I haven't followed Lloydbaltazar's case, but from what I've read this edit pattern is the closest, unless there's another investigation I'm unaware of. There are also many more IPs involved, so I'm only adding the ones that have edited lately. Jamez42 (talk) 02:46, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
Because of the number of accounts mentioned, I really feel the need to apologize beforehand to any involved new user that has made good faith edits during these months that is unrelated to Lloydbaltazar. There were other users that I considered adding but decided not to because of their edit history or interaction. --Jamez42 (talk) 03:02, 7 July 2018 (UTC)

- Note that TreasureIslandMediaBoss also joined with Catflap08 using 2.247.240.0/20 this IP range from Germany to engage an disruptive editing at Nichiren's article in the past ago, see also Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Catflap08/Archive. SA 13 Bro (talk)13:36, 7 July 2018 (UTC)
- The sock master is active on beauty pageant related articles (examples: confirmed sock TreasureIslandMediaBoss created articles like Maria Lynn Ehren [24] and Mikimoto Crown [25]). Unfortunately many edits on beauty pageant related articles are dubious and many editors appear to be SPA´s who may be involved in POV pushing or disruptive editing. The majority of the IP´s in this report geolocate to countries like Vietnam or England. 104.172.188.15 was blocked for 2 weeks in the recent SPI report.
- 2600:387:8:7:0:0:0:86 [26] is probably a sock [27] of Lloydbaltazar. Sometimes the sock master uses the 2600:387:8:* IP range. Example: Confirmed sock SeoulKing uploaded an image at Commons, 07:47, 25 June 2018, [28]. This image was inserted half an hour later in a Nichiren related article by 2600:387:8:9::8f [29]. The edits of 2600:387:8:11:0:0:0:71 [30] are also similar to those of the sock master.
- I am familiar with the Catflap case and I do not assume that he is a sock of Lloydbaltazar. Catflaps last edits were focused on Nichiren related talk pages (Lloydbaltazar socks rarely use talk pages) and the identified IP´s of Lloydbaltazar can not be geolocated to Germany. JimRenge (talk) 10:32, 8 July 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, I am pretty sure that Catflap08 is a different person as TreasureIslandMediaBoss or Lloydbaltazar. Only the issue was he shouldn't join with TreasureIslandMediaBoss to campaign for restoring those OR unsourced and NPOV dispute materials of this disruptive editing at Nichiren's article in previously ago while he was the topic ban and local ban user on English Wikipedia, Catflap08 also did the censorship troll comment on Hijiri88 at here and me at here in the past ago. Indicated about the IP range 2600:387:8::/48 editing activities, yes I am pretty sure that the IP range was used by Lloydbaltazar in previously ago, such as like this edit summary. SA 13 Bro (talk) 00:13, 9 July 2018 (UTC)
- Agreed with both of the above (thanks for the ping). If Catflap08 were capable of hiding his location behind proxy IPs and other such magic, he probably wouldn't be actively socking via IPs that are easily identifiable with him. Hijiri 88 (聖やや) 08:23, 9 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Ivanvector: There is no CU evidence on Catflap08, to the best of my knowledge, since he has never socked with a named account. The problem is that he apparently thinks it is okay if he edits while logged out in order to evade his ban, but "true socking" is apparently beyond the pale for him. There also seems to be consensus that Catflap08 is unrelated to the above (I was gonna point out that I don't recall Catflap ever making edits related to beauty pagents). - Clerk declined - the IPs are stale and geolocate all over the world and none match the previously reported IPs in this case. I'm not sure I understand the supposed behavioural overlap: Lloydbaltazar's area of interest appears to be South Asian Catholicism, Catflap08 seems interested in Nichiren Buddhism (as does Tokuburai), and the accounts related to TreasureIslandMediaBoss are the ones with an interest in beauty pageants, with minor overlaps between the three groups that may be incidental. It's possible we've mis-identified some of these accounts. @JamesBWatson: what do you think? Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 15:34, 9 July 2018 (UTC)
- On second thought, Clerk endorsed for the named accounts only, and please also compare with any available information from Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Catflap08. Going back far enough in any of the blocked accounts shows that they repeatedly return to the same odd set of niche topics, as though someone is trying to employ multiple single-purpose accounts to obfuscate detection but occasionally forgetting which one they're logged in as. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 15:40, 9 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Hijiri88: yeah, you appear to be right. Catflap is pretty focused on Nichiren, but so are some other accounts identified with Lloydbaltazar who have focused on Nichiren with occasional overlaps into beauty pageants, while others focus more on pageants and just cross over into Nichiren occasionally, but either way those two things are an odd combination of interests. It might amount to nothing but I'm suspicious. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 21:26, 9 July 2018 (UTC)
- I also don't think any of the IPs listed here are Catflap. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 21:27, 9 July 2018 (UTC)

- All named accounts are technically Unrelated. LFaraone 03:52, 10 July 2018 (UTC)
- Here is an interaction matrix between TreasureIslandMediaBoss and all of the accounts named here. As you can see, the intersections are only in pageant-related articles. As it relates to this case, it appears to be coincidental. This is probably undisclosed paid editing given the nature of the topics, but as far as sockpuppetry is concerned there is no finding. Closing with no action. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 12:52, 10 July 2018 (UTC)
