I can pretty much imagine that a lot of you are probably growing tiresome of this RfC. :/ I considered there to be a local consensus to remove the opt-in requirement locally for this wiki. However, a few people have expressed concern that the RfC was cut short, wasn't advertised well enough, and didn't have enough participation. I have therefore halted plans to remove the opt-in early August to address these concerns, that I see valid. For those who were not yet aware, here is the local RfC and the global RfC can be found here which closed as keep globally. I don't think I need to explain much what the options are as many of you already know it. Those of you who don't, can look at the previous RfCs to understand. The question is, should we keep, remove, or replace with opt-out, the opt-in function locally for this Wikipedia only?—cyberpower ChatOnline 08:41, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
Keep opt-in
Replace opt-in with opt-out
Remove opt completely

- It would be far more professional if the full issue was set out here rather than asking occasional readers to go do their own research in potentially WP:TL;DR links. Leaky Caldron 12:01, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
- I haven't started this RfC yet.—cyberpower ChatOnline 14:07, 26 July 2013 (UTC)

- Yes. You're right. I don't know what I was thinking. :p—cyberpower ChatOnline 15:47, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
