If you are unable to complete a move for technical reasons, you can request technical help below. This is the correct method if you tried to move a page, but you got an error message saying something like "You do not have permission to move this page, for the following reasons:..." or "The/This page could not be moved, for the following reason:..."
- To list a technical request: the Uncontroversial technical requests subsection and insert the following code at the bottom of the list, filling in pages and reason:
This will automatically insert a bullet and include your signature. Please do not edit the article's talk page.{{subst:RMassist|current page title|new title|reason=reason for move}}
- If you object to a proposal listed in the uncontroversial technical requests section, please move the request to the Contested technical requests section, append a note on the request elaborating on why, and sign with ~~~~. Consider pinging the requester to let them know about the objection.
- If your technical request is contested, or if a contested request is left untouched without reply, create a requested move on the article talk and remove the request from the section here. The fastest and easiest way is to click the "discuss" button at the request, save the talk page, and remove the entry on this page.

Uncontroversial technical requests
- Chynadiieve → Chynadiiovo (currently a redirect back to Chynadiieve) (move · ) – Common name (significantly more Google search results) and official name (used by city council website). Shwabb1 (talk) 03:53, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
- European Federation → Federal Europe (currently a redirect back to European Federation) (move · ) – See talkpage consensus at Talk:European Federation#Requested move 21 April 2024. ‑‑Neveselbert (talk · contribs · email) 17:29, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
- I'm slightly hesitant to call it a "talk page consensus"... The RM was for a different title and was withdrawn, albeit that some participants stated a preference for Federal Europe. It seems like if an alternative title is to be proposed it should probably be discussed at a fresh RM, or at least have let the original RM run its course and closed by an independent closer. — Amakuru (talk) 22:16, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
- Pearl City (Muthunagar) Super Fast Express → Pearl City Express (currently a redirect back to Pearl City (Muthunagar) Super Fast Express) (move · ) – per naming conventions and WP:UCRN --βα£α(ᶀᶅᶖᵵᵶ) 20:14, 29 April 2024 (UTC)

- Battle of Wiłkomierz → Battle of Pabaiskas (currently a redirect back to Battle of Wiłkomierz) (move · ) – Harmonization with the article's text. The new name is also the most commonly used in academia, as Google Scholar gives 19 results for "Battle of Pabaiskas" [1] whereas only one for "Battle of Wiłkomierz" [2]. +JMJ+ (talk) 16:15, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
- +JMJ+ the current page title is a result of a RM discussion. Please open another one if you wish to move it. – robertsky (talk) 10:33, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- Shinwari (Pashtun tribe) → Shinwari (currently a redirect instead to Shinwari (disambiguation)) (move · ) – Unnecessary title, it's a Uniquely named tribe, only a further headache when writing articles. Shinwari is all that is needed and won't be confused with anything else, just improves writing on Wikipedia. RevolutionaryPatriot (talk) 08:49, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
- @RevolutionaryPatriot: See Shinwari (disambiguation). Shinwari is also a surname and a district. --Ahecht (TALK
PAGE) 14:50, 29 April 2024 (UTC)- Shinwari is a surname because in the world, the last name indicates a person's ancestry or tribal affiliation, being that of the Shinwari tribe. The Shinwari district in rural Parwana province isn't going to be confused with anyone because of how unknown it is. Tell me if you still think this is a needed clarification. RevolutionaryPatriot (talk) 21:47, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
- This seems like a case where the Pashtun tribe is the primary topic. Hydrangeans (she/her | talk | edits) 04:25, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
