The result of the discussion was: Kept; image was issued as a postcard, as can be seen from listings on eBay. Diannaa (talk) 21:31, 25 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Needs more evidence of PD state. Eeekster (talk) 07:33, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- The image is a promo picture, it was published in magazines in widespread fashion throughout the 1970s. It was also handed freely in WWWF events, like all other promo shots. And as you can see, this is the full-sized sample and no copyright notice is present in it, just as stated in the license being used. Its upload was consulted with the wrestling WikiProject beforehand since it is the same license used for Bruno Sammartino's photo. 166.147.120.162 (talk) 20:10, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- BTW, these were very common. They were handed out in cards like this in autograph signings. Notice, again, the lack of a copyright notice in the card linked. Old School WWC Fan (talk) 20:26, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- You would have to identify a specific publication where this was legitimately published without a copyright notice in order to verify the public domain claim. --Stefan2 (talk) 13:25, 9 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Or I could simply upload that card. We ready know that it was handed in autograph sessions, it doesn't get any more "promotional" than that. Old School WWC Fan (talk) 08:45, 10 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes, uploading both sides of the card should be enough. --Stefan2 (talk) 09:33, 10 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Seriously? How come that Sammartino's photo didn't have to undergo that sort of scrutiny? There's more than one example of contemporary material that used these photos without notice. Magazines used them freely, like this, as you can see by browsing the eBay listings. Old School WWC Fan (talk) 02:40, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment wouldn't it depend on whether the artwork of the house is PD-old or not? -- 76.65.128.222 (talk) 01:31, 5 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

- Some of the logos are logos of German companies. The German logos pass Commons:COM:TOO#Germany. Not sure whether all of the logos are German or not. If some aren't German, then there might be an issue. --Stefan2 (talk) 13:22, 9 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This award was designed in 1943 by Đorđe Andrejević-Kun. During WW2 and later there was no "copywrite" and "private property" for awards images in socialistic Yugoslavia - they was a public domain after adopting. After falling SFRY this is public domain of Serbia and Montenegro as assigned countries. --Leonid76 (talk) 19:38, 5 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
