- I just stumbled across this, but I'm concerned about the validity of the license. It's asserted to be PD, the rationale for which (after reading the decription) appears to be that it's used on a website published by the USAF. However, I'm not seeing any indication that a USAF employee created the work—if they did, then it should be PD-USGov, but if not, we don't know the copyright status. - I agree. While the picture seems to come from a PDF on the Arnold Air Force Base, the PDF itself states "Credit for production of this book goes to the entire ATA Public Affairs staff..." and as far as I can tell, the Aerospace Testing Alliance is a private company that contracts with the US Military. Since this seems to be the work of the company, not the Air Force, {{PD-USGov-Military-Air Force}} doesn't apply. Avicennasis @ 16:34, 25 Iyar 5771 / 29 May 2011 (UTC)
- So as not to cherry pick, the report's acknowledgments section also says the ATA staff "compiled publicly released information — produced by several generations of AEDC writers and photographers". -Fnlayson (talk) 20:48, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- "publicly released information" just means information that has been made available to the public. It does not mean "released into the public domain." Therefore, even if the image was publicly released before its appearence in this document, that does not negate any possible copyright. Avicennasis @ 17:23, 9 Sivan 5771 / 11 June 2011 (UTC)

- Delete: Low quality book cover claimed to be copyright of the uploader. In the article Ram Prasad Bismil where this image is used it states: "Cover Photo Of Man Ki Lahar written & published by Ram Prasad 'Bismil' himself" which clearly shows the uploader's claim is false. As a derivative work, without proof it is freely licenced it should be deleted. If the uploader owns the copyright to the book and owns the book then a better quality image should be easily available. ww2censor (talk) 19:53, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
