- Combination of two images; agf on top image as being uploader's, however, the lower image is probably PD-old, but without the source, it is not possible to tell. Skier Dude (talk) 07:20, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Old image - no source, only metadata is from Picasa, most likely not PD-self, but without source it is not possible to tell the correct license Skier Dude (talk) 07:21, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Now correctly attributed as a public domain non-free image with justifications. Am working with uploader to tidy his image licences. 21st CENTURY GREENSTUFF 15:32, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The badge itself is indeed {{PD-BritishGov}} but the author may choose any license he wishes as this is not a 2-dimensional artefact. Returned to original {{GFDL}} licensing. Angus McLellan (Talk) 16:26, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- The image is of the cap badge of a long defunct regiment. This particular badge belongs to and was worn by my father, who was in the regiment and is mentioned in the article. What more do you want? By your reckoning every image on this article Cap badge should also be tagged. Why aren't they? Jack1956 (talk) 17:49, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Note: This image is currently tagged as non-free. If there is a dispute with the rationale, please tag the image with {{dfu}} or list it at WP:Non-free content review. Otherwise, unless there is another reason for listing here, the listing will be closed by an administrator and the image kept. AnomieBOT⚡ 08:23, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- I am the uploader and I've tried to make this right for several times. Once I have asked the original photographer to send an email to one of your editors to confirm, but the picture still got deleted. Could you please inform me how to do to keep the picture? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mdwang (talk • contribs) 18:14, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- This image is actually the logos of two organizations that have been combined together. Although I can believe that the combining of the two logos was done by the editor that uploaded the image, the editor is not the copyright owner of either logo and as such, the resulting image is a copyright violation. - Exit data does not match source "Rafael Suanes" professional photographer and copyright 2009 Georgetown Univ MilborneOne (talk) 23:21, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- The photo is from Flickr. I mistakenly uploaded it here instead of the commons when I was in a rush today. Which is why I put it up for speedy deletion after re-uploading this to the commons, so this file should be deleted as a duplicate whether or not its free. I don't know why we needed to remove my speedy deletion request to put a notice up here.-- Patrick {oѺ∞} 04:25, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Rafael Suanes actually emailed me back claiming the photo as his own, from the Tropaia awards he says. So I guess both this and the other half, File:Robert_Gallucci.jpg, are his too.-- Patrick {oѺ∞} 15:18, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
