Unnecessary essay differentiating the difference between anime and animation. DragonZero (Talk · Contribs) 05:16, 4 April 2015 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. Not sure what this essay is trying to accomplish in the context of Wikipedia. To the extent that there is confusion of these terms, we resolve that by referencing RSs, not referring to editors' essays. Belongs on author's blog. Jeh (talk) 05:22, 4 April 2015 (UTC)
- Delete Even if the statement "Many people misinterpret the idea that anime is anything that relates to animation" were true, even just reading the first sentence of anime would clear up any misunderstanding. So the purpose of this "essay" is wholly unnecessary.--十八 06:04, 4 April 2015 (UTC)
- Delete It not necessary or even completely accurate. While it's true that in the West Anime specifically covers animation that is aimed at the Japanese market that is not true for Japan itself, as can be seen on the Anime page.--67.68.208.170 (talk) 06:49, 4 April 2015 (UTC)
- Delete Not only is the essay completely wrong on the basic facts, but also adds to the confusion. —Farix (t | c) 11:57, 4 April 2015 (UTC)
- Delete Put this on a blog, not an encyclopedia please. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 14:45, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
