Wikipedia:Another way to archive a talk page
This page is totally inappropriate, and is utter rubbish because page archival in this manner makes it very difficult to find out what was there before. It also implies that you should be disrespectful to those that complain about this method. It is possibly a joke that I cannot find funny at all. Unfortunately, it is not obviously nothing but vandalism, so I cannot speedily delete this because the rules state that you can delete comments from your talk page. - Delete, it's not only promoting incivil behaviour but the suggested method itself is at best mildly annoying and at worst a vandalistic method of avoiding communication with other editors and justifying it by wikilawyering.
What it says may be technically within the rules to do, but we wouldn't allow a "policy" page called Wikipedia:How to manipulate 3RR into blocking your opponents in content disputes that told people to, after limiting out on reverts, make a completely different but still unacceptable change to provoke the other edit warrer into reverting to his version again. --tjstrf talk 02:36, 2 May 2007 (UTC) - Delete, orphaned and promotes incivility. We have better ways of stating how to archive a talk page. --Coredesat 03:30, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- Speedy Delete as page created by an indef blocked user. CharonX/talk 03:43, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- Delete. Now, you can archive this way, but nobody actually likes it. -Amarkov moo! 04:29, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
