The result of the debate was Delete all. I think it logical—and the consensus here seems to concur—that having factually inaccurate information sheltered anywhere on Wikipedia is detrimental to the encyclopedia and to our readers' experience. The outcome here is therefore to remove all the user subpages in question, with no prejudice to providing the deleted content to their ex-owners for transfer to Wikia, as suggested by Yellow Evan, should they still wish to perform such a transfer. Dylan620 weather articles
Dylan620 (talk · contribs) and Yellow Evan (talk · contribs) created numerous subpages of deliberately incorrect information about tropical cyclones on "Planet Ceres". The users have stated that they work on these pages for fun. We know that Wikipedia is not a web-host, and additionally, these articles contain information regarding fatalities which may or may not be correct, and could falsely inform users who happen to stumble upon these pages. The other pages are:
- User:Dylan620/1979 Planet Ceres Atlantic Hurricane Season/Tropical Storm Alicia (1979)
- User:Dylan620/1979 Planet Ceres Atlantic Hurricane Season/Hurricane Bob (1979)

- Redirect all to userpage. These all look like reasonable sandbox activity. There is no merit in preventing these users from accessing their past edits. Redirect to their respective userpages to prevent possible confusion as per nom. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 01:42, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
- Delete all only because they're misinformation. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells • Otter chirps • HELP) 18:30, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
- Comment - It would help to have links to "users have stated that they work on these pages for fun" and other links to establish that no amount of editing of these recently created pages will result in content for the encyclopedia. -- Suntag ☼ 18:58, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
- "I just do it for fun". Also, theses pages are based on "Planet Ceres" hurricanes, which are obviously fictional. Cheers, –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 19:01, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
- Delete I did this also, except that I deleted my pages, if you delete them, can you tell User:Dylan620 before you delete, he might want to move the content to the scratchpad wiki. --Kirk76 1854 Atlantic Hurricane Season 01:09, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- Transfer all to Wikia It might take a few days, but I will be able to transfer all of my work to Wikia. There, it will be appropriate to make up hypothetical hurricanes and seasons. I'll let Yellow Evan know about this, just in case he wants his articles saved. Dylan620 Life story 09:44 UTC October 14, 2008

The Planet Ceres makes it fictional.Leave Message orYellow Evan home 14:09, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
- First of all, if it's fictional, it doesn't belong on Wikipedia. However, the storms, places, and dates are real, which leaves the potential for misinformation. –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 16:24, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
