Copy of Konrad Adenauer in violation of WP:UP#COPIES. Seems to have created after these edits there. Ricky81682 (talk) 19:38, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- Support Deletion ... @Ricky81682: Agree partly because no substantial edits have been made to perhaps re-write sections the article, or something of the like. --JustBerry (talk) 19:57, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
Keep. Editor is still active here.
- Oppose Deletion. I am sorry if I am some violation of the rules around here, but the current page on this subject is rather different from this page I created. After rather substantial changes made to the current page, rather than engage in an edit war, I created this page to provide an example of how I think this page should be. Since the current page differs in rather drastic ways from this page, I did not think it is a copyright violation of the current page. --A.S. Brown (talk) 06:47, 11 October 2015 (UTC)

Where is the issue with your text? All I see is Talk:Konrad_Adenauer#Unreadable_prose but no further discussion and nothing to indicate actual objection other than this massive cutting by an IP user. If there's a content dispute, various solutions can be found at WP:DRR. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 08:56, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
Good point, Ricky, but I was never intending to keep that page up indefinitely. Something to work for the next few months to the point where I could take it to where I would like. Perhaps this is just me, but I prefer to work in solitude, just quietly and gradually improving articles (through some people don't agree). There are some editors relished fighting on talk-pages, indeed some seem to come here only with the intention of fighting. But I am not one of those editors. I would know the expectation is to assume good faith, but when other editors start engaging in vicious personal attacks like calling you a "Stalinist", an agent of the Kremlin, etc, it is awfully hard to assume good faith. This is off-topic, but the gentleman who was so rude to me almost never leaves behind edit summaries, which is rather annoying to say the least. I am not making any accusations of bad conduct in this particular case, but it has been my experience that those who cannot be bothered to leave edit summaries behind are doing something that they should not be doing. I rather work on articles rather engaging in battles with editors who appeared to have a visceral personal dislike of me. It is just a much better use of my time. The IP made some drastic changes to the article, but nobody else has objected, so I was afraid that I went to undo IP's work, I would been accused of disputative editing. I just like to work on articles rather fighting with other editors, which is the path that has led me here.
Thank you for the solution at WP: DRR. I was not aware of that. I think the best solution here would be to keep the current article more or less as it is and then have sub-articles which can be based on the material I have gathered in the user page under discussion branching out from the main article. Those readers who want a summary can read the main article, and those with more interest in the topic can read the sub-articles. There are some books I would like to use, which are currently unavailable, so I have not able to do very much latterly. I would prefer that user page up for a few months because I find it helpful if you entire subject right in front of you, but if that does not work for you, than delete the user-page. I hope that works with you. --A.S. Brown (talk) 23:44, 14 October 2015 (UTC)
