Contested A7 speedy deletion. Message on my talk page includes claim of "This is the largest group on MySpace", which is claim on notability and 199992 sounds like a lot of members, so bringing here for full discussion. Petros471 21:24, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete: Forum membership numbers are not the same as references by 3rd party reliable sources. Fails: Wikipedia:Verifiability. If this mini-site was truly notable, then others would have already written about you instead of you ending up having to write a vanity article about yourself. Unique Google hits for ("world Artist Network" MySpace -site:myspace.com) = 47 [1]. Fails: Wikipedia:Notability (web). -- Netsnipe (Talk) 21:33, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Weak delete The member number is massive, but I don't see any evidence of media attention or otherwise having an impact outside of the group itself. I'm also concerned that keeping might lead to more myspace/orkut/yahoo/msn/etc groups wanting articles. Weak delete, possibly change if reliable sources come to the rescue. - Comment: It's 0.2% of MySpace's 100 million accounts membership. And of those 0.2%, who knows how many of them are genuine contributors or people who just want another shiny MySpace equivalent of a Wikipedia:Userbox on their userpage. -- Netsnipe (Talk) 22:08, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
