Listcruft. If this article is permissible, then there surely should be one for every year. Which, imo, is absurd. TheLongTone (talk) 14:32, 18 October 2018 (UTC)

- Delete I partially agree although there already is a well sourced entry Structure of the Royal Navy in 1989. It appears the user J-Man11 seems to be creating Wikipedia entries that already exist with little verification.Sammartinlai (talk) 09:37, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
- Delete Inferior duplicate of the referenced list on the Royal Marines article. Kges1901 (talk) 20:03, 18 October 2018 (UTC)
- Delete due to redundancy with the RM article. It is believed the reason 1989 has been chosen is that was the last year of the Cold War, and orders of battle for that year reflect the strength of various forces at that point, after which all militaries drew down considerably. However, the complete lack of communication by the list creator added to the lack of sourcing makes it very hard to verify the contents of these lists.
