Right now this seems like an WP:NOTESSAY rather than a Wikipedia article, and I'm struggling to see if it can be re-written. Ultimately, I think this AfD is required. Right now there appears to a lot of opinion and WP:Original research (for example, In the context of India, the Hindi language perfectly fits these characteristics) with some quotes from the relevant legislation, and what appears to be a lengthy quote from a speech. - Comment Looks like an essay. I've written articles about Indian laws for Wiki Loves Asia in the past, this would need better inline citations to be kept. Oaktree b (talk) 18:14, 10 May 2022 (UTC)

- Delete. Per WP:NOTESSAY. There may be an encyclopedic topic in here somewhere, but this article would have to be fundamentally rewritten from the ground up to get there. agtx 19:39, 10 May 2022 (UTC)
- It's not an essay. It's a translation of hi:भारत की राजभाषा के रूप में हिन्दी, which is just a poor quality article itself. It's actually the second translation that someone has tried. There was a prior one in 2017, deleted on the grounds that it was (a) partly gibberish and (b) already covered in the English language Wikipedia under languages of India and languages with official status in India. We do not need that article translating, thank you. Delete. Uncle G (talk) 17:11, 13 May 2022 (UTC)
- Delete, no need for a redirect. This is garbage, if there's anything useful it is already/can be covered in articles as described by Uncle G. Jacona (talk) 07:13, 17 May 2022 (UTC)
