- Keep This golf course is more than 100 years old. It gets tons of mentions [1] and an occasional actual article [2] in the New York Times. Tiger Woods's father learned golf there. It's described as "one of the most played public golf courses in the nation." [3] I don't agree with DGG that all golf courses are notable, but this one certainly seems to be.
