The result was keep. The protein is indeed notable, however, it just appears that the references are not included within the article (but do exist). I recommend that they be added in order to help prevent confusion regarding nomination. DGG sums it up well. The article needs references added (they exist), not deletion. Please do see WP:BEFORE when making nominations. If you have any questions about this or object to my close, please do feel free to message me on my talk page (and please remain civil, I will respond to your message as soon as possible). - Keep - a description of a protein's structure and function is certainly not a dictionary definition. There are reliable papers about these aspects, such as in myeloid leukemia and in MHC antigen processing. CLIP modulates immune responses, sitting in the MHC's peptide binding site. And so forth. - Keep - needs refs but those are just unused, not nonexistent. Text body is fine for a short treatement of a protein. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 11:39, 6 December 2017 (UTC)
- Keep. aneedsreferences, not deletion. See WP:BEFORE. DGG ( talk ) 10:19, 8 December 2017 (UTC)
