If you are unable to complete a move for technical reasons, you can request technical help below. This is the correct method if you tried to move a page, but you got an error message saying something like "You do not have permission to move this page, for the following reasons:..." or "The/This page could not be moved, for the following reason:..."
- To list a technical request: the Uncontroversial technical requests subsection and insert the following code at the bottom of the list, filling in pages and reason:
This will automatically insert a bullet and include your signature. Please do not edit the article's talk page.{{subst:RMassist|current page title|new title|reason=reason for move}}
- If you object to a proposal listed in the uncontroversial technical requests section, please move the request to the Contested technical requests section, append a note on the request elaborating on why, and sign with ~~~~. Consider pinging the requester to let them know about the objection.
- If your technical request is contested, or if a contested request is left untouched without reply, create a requested move on the article talk and remove the request from the section here. The fastest and easiest way is to click the "discuss" button at the request, save the talk page, and remove the entry on this page.

Uncontroversial technical requests
- Hittite mythology and religion → Hittite religion (currently a redirect back to Hittite mythology and religion) (move · ) – All comparable pages listed in Template:Ancient Near East topics are either "X religion" or "X mythology", but not "X mythology and religion", so the name should be changed to just one for consistency. The lead is already about the concept of Hittite religion, and "X religion" pages are more common than "X mythology", so I chose "Hittite religion". Hittite religion is also the much more common web search compared to Hittite mythology, and "Hittite mythology and religion" doesnt even show up: https://books.google.com/ngrams/graph?content=Hittite+religion%2CHittite+mythology%2CHittite+mythology+and+religion&year_start=1800&year_end=2019&corpus=en-2019&smoothing=3 Pogenplain (talk) 16:02, 13 May 2024 (UTC)

- Gazetted Officer (Kenya) → Gazetted officer (Kenya) (move · ) – Descriptive title. 2409:4073:4EB5:4764:147A:F026:5957:332E (talk) 19:51, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
- Brakes (rollercoaster) → Brake run (currently a redirect back to Brakes (rollercoaster)) (move · ) – Revert undiscussed bold move that occurred on 31 August 2023. This article is primarily about the "brake run" element, and despite the moving editor's justification, the "brakeman" can still be discussed in an article about brake runs. Also, the original name doesn't require disambiguation. This page should not be moved without further discussion. GoneIn60 (talk) 20:10, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
- Mill Street Barracks, St Helens → Mill Street Barracks (move · ) – WP:CONCISE PAWPERSO (talk) 20:24, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
- 1997 Prairie Dell-Jarrell tornado → 1997 Jarrell tornado (currently a redirect back to 1997 Prairie Dell-Jarrell tornado) (move · ) – Tornado did not actually hit Prairie Dell, and is not needed in the title. - CBS Corporation (1886–2000) → Westinghouse Electric Corporation (currently a redirect back to CBS Corporation (1886–2000)) (move · ) – Undiscussed move, wipes out page on a 111 year old company. Wonky title, CBS was not broadcasting in 1886 Fountains of Bryn Mawr (talk) 20:59, 13 May 2024 (UTC)

- NoBull → NOBULL (move · ) – The official company name is NOBULL, not NoBull, and is always stylized NOBULL Jcostas81 (talk) 13:01, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
- Namboothiri (disambiguation) → Namboothiri (currently a redirect instead to Nambudiri) (move · ) – WP:NOPT Jax 0677 (talk) 00:26, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
- This is likely correct now as a WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT as a spelling variant of the caste (Nambudiri), which is a broad article that itself serves a disambiguating purpose by including links to notable people therein. And examples of people with the surname may be partial title matches except to the extent they are known mononymously (which does appear to be the case with Namboothiri (artist)). - Israel in the Iran–Iraq War → Israeli support for Iran during the Iran–Iraq war (currently a redirect back to Israel in the Iran–Iraq War) (move · ) – moving the article to its original title that is now a redirect. Damian Lew (talk) 19:44, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
- @Damian Lew: The last stable title was "Israel's role in the Iran–Iraq [W/w]ar" for about 7-8 years. The title you're requesting hasn't been in place since 2015, and proved to be controversial. I would be fine with reverting the move from 8 month ago by a WP:BLOCKEVADING user, but for the original title you'll need to open a requested move with a substantive reason to prefer that title. SilverLocust 💬 20:41, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
- The article's title was unilaterally changed about 7-8 years ago without a substantial reason provided nor a request made. I've just now contested the move in the talk page of the article in question, citing that the previous title gave a more apt description of the article's content (as can be observed from the first sentence of the article) and it is more in line with other article titles from the same conflict, thus the move made years ago was wholly arbitrary. Damian Lew (talk) 22:12, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
- Present title is the most appropriate and neutral. Don't see any reason to opt for that overstretched and statement-like title. Any particular reason?--2409:4073:4EB5:4764:20AB:195D:66BE:84D1 (talk) 18:55, 13 May 2024 (UTC)

- Special Ops: Lioness → Lioness (American TV series) (currently a redirect back to Special Ops: Lioness) (move · ) – old name has been reinstated[1][2] but old article has 2 edits (which is more than 1) CapnZapp (talk) 14:07, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
- The current title is WP:NATURAL disambiguation. SilverLocust 💬 23:01, 11 May 2024 (UTC)
- No, the current title was changed from the previous one, and now the network has decided to change it back. The title should once more be Lioness --> Lioness (TV series) --> Lioness (American TV series). We do not prefer to use the wrong title just because it makes titling Wikipedia articles very slightly more convenient. If you actually oppose this technical move, and didn't simply want to give your personal explanation of the current title that is feasible but unlikely, please move it to Contested technical requests. Cheers CapnZapp (talk) 09:15, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
- I agree with SilverLocust. Best to retain the present title as natural disambiguation. It isn't "wrong", as that was the title of the first and only series so far and still retained on Paramount's website. If the common name in future drops the "Special Ops" to the point that it would be unusual and confusing to include it, we could think again, but for now I think it best to retain it. — Amakuru (talk) 14:39, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
