For your information, I was Charles Burnett III's pilot, and he was engaged to my wife's older sister for 17 years, but never married her. I have been an Airline Transport Pilot for 44 years (since 1974), and have flown Charles and his family all over the Western hemisphere, to the Carribbean mostly, and we were very close 20 years ago. Charles just died in a horrible helicopter accident 15 miles west of Raton, New Mexico on January 17, 2018 just after dark. The helicopter lost its tail rotor and directional control, and spun in from 500 feet, and then burned in a fiery crash. Charles burned to death. It was terrible. Charles' girlfriend was the only person of 6 people who survived. I don't know how to verify to Wikipedia's satisfaction that Charles has always been a family member, but tell me what to do. Your edits to Charles Burnett III
Hi. I noticed that you made some edits to Charles Burnett III where you claimed to know the information that you added from personal experience. Unless you can independently verify that you personally knew Charles Burnett, the information that you added that cannot be verified from other sources will have to be removed per WP:I saw it. I'm not an expert on Wikipedia policy, so you should check with a more experienced user who knows better (Asking on the user talk page of Wikipedia's founder is common.), but if you, in real life, go on a reputable source, say your Wikipedia username and say that you knew Charles Burnett personally, and said source is able to verify and publish that, then you should (Again, this is just my interpretation; it may or may not be held by the majority of the Wikipedia community. I strongly recommend .) quality as an expert editor concerning Charles Burnett III, and your edits can stay. By the way, if you want to get my attention, instead of having to type something on my talkpage, you can just put {{ping|The Nth User}} at the beginning of your reply, and I'll see a message letting me know the next time I log on. Care to differ or discuss with me? The Nth User 02:47, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
