Hello, I hope I am typing this message in the right place, I scanned the list of people willing to take adoptees and I liked the information you presented. My name is David I am 50 plus based in the UK, wide experience of writing in the UK about media issue.
I help run a radio station. Total newby here, have changed/edited a few posts. I know my subject areas, UK Television will not be riveting to you per say, though wrong to make assumptions. I would like to accept your offer to learn more wiki knowledge, share your skills, and accept guidance, so that I can improve my own skills, confidence and performance. In this way I know I can make a good contribution to to wiki community. I do not see the age difference as a barrier, in fact I think it a considerable plus. I hope you feel you would have the time and ever so slight patience to help and guide me.
My main interests are UK Radio, UK Television, UK Cinema, UK Literature, and in some aspects, I am already an widely accepted expert outisde ogf Wiki but in this portal I am very much a new kid on the block and learning ropes.
If you did find time to adopt me, it would be I think a pretty awsome experience and a nice road to drive along. Hope to here from you soon. I don't see the time difference an issue either as I work shifs and am often awake when Australia is.
Take care, I am sure you will scan a few of my edits, but message me when you can. If you have stopped adopting anyone or cannot do it, please also let me know.

Thanks for your response, I did wonder, as I guess you are a student with all those sorts of pressures, and did not really want to bug you. But alas you cannot do it right now, now worries. I have been adopted, but nothing seems to have happened yet, so I will wait and see how things go. Take Care and ta for the reply - David B

Dear WikiProject Video games member,
You are receiving this message because you have either Category:WikiProject Video games members or {{User WPVG}} somewhere in your userspace and you have edited Wikipedia in recent months.
The Video games project has created a member list to provide a clearer picture of its active membership.
All members have currently been placed in the "Inactive" section by default. Please remove your username from the "Inactive" listing and place it under the "Active" listing if you plan on regularly:
- Editing video game-related pages in the Article namespace
- Participating in video game-related discussions in the Project namespace (WT:VG, WP:AfD, WP:GAN, etc.)
Ideally, members are encouraged to do both, but either one meets our criteria of inclusion. Members still listed inactive at the beginning of November 2009 may be removed. You may re-add yourself to the active list at any time. Thank you for your help, and we look forward to working with you.
