Disambiguation link notification for August 7
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Alderley Edge Mines, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Lias and Young adult. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

6k articles is quite a lot. I saw your work at [1] but can't at least P18 be put into use on {{Infobox sportsperson}} or {{Infobox person}}? A lot of manual work is being wasted in this area, which would be better spent carefully selecting images for Wikidata via WDFIST. Nemo 22:15, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
- @Nemo bis: There's no technical reason why not, it just needs someone to do it or to get consensus to do it, whichever is most appropriate. The code for the infobox is straightforward:
| image = {{#invoke:InfoboxImage|InfoboxImage|image={{#invoke:Wikidata|getValue|P18|{{{image|FETCH_WIKIDATA}}} }}|size={{{image_size|}}}|sizedefault=frameless|alt={{{alt|}}}}} | caption = {{{caption|{{#invoke:Wikidata|getImageLegend|FETCH_WIKIDATA}}}}}
- It just needs tweaking to make sure that the existing parameters calls still work (swap out 'image', 'image_size', 'alt' and 'caption' as needed). Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 06:15, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
