What is your evidence that File:Ralph Doubell 1968.jpg is not him? Materialscientist (talk) 06:20, 18 November 2015 (UTC)
Your recent edits
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 22:48, 18 November 2015 (UTC)
Commons photo
Hi Jamesdoubell. Unfortunately, the photo you uploaded to Wikimedia Commons cannot be accepted because its copyright licensing is not compatible with c:Commons:Licensing. For more details, please take a look at c:User talk:Jamesdoubell#File:Ralph Doubell.jpg. I did not re-add the other photo since you seem to be claiming it is not your father. Since your father seems to be still alive (at least according to the article), one possible solution to the image problem would be for you or someone else to take a photograph of him and then upload to Commons as your "own work". Most likely anything you find of him online is going to be under copyright protection of some kind, which means you are going to need the permission of the original copyright holder (typically the photographer) to upload the photo to Commons. That is why I suggest you or someone you know take the photo yourself. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:03, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
