The source for Anne Boleyn as a composer is this: Edith Borroff, "Anne Boleyn", in Historical Anthology of Women in Music (Indiana University Press, 1987). While it only lists one composition ("O Deathe, rock me asleepe", supposed to have been written while she was imprisoned in the Tower of London, awaiting execution), the writeup does mention that she is mentioned in several contemporary sources as a skilled musical performer and composer. I can cite the source if you like. The actual piece of music is only attributed to her, however, so it is certainly possible that none of her music has survived. Do you have any knowledge of her activity or non-activity as a composer, since you removed her from the List of Renaissance composers? Thanks, and once again, welcome.
