Red Rock Entertainment Ltd is a film investment and production company based at Elstree Film Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire UK.[1] They work alongside UK Independent film, TV, and Distribution companies. The company acts as executive producers sourcing investment and finance for film and TV projects. Red Rock Entertainment is owned and run by managing director Gary Collins.[2]
Background
Red Rock Entertainment are involved in the production of The Comedian’s Guide to Survival,[3] which started shooting in Canada at the end of July 2015.[4] The Comedian’s Guide to Survival features The Inbetweeners’ James Buckley, along with comedians Paul Kaye, Jimmy Carr and Omid Djalili.[5]
In August 2015 the company began filming for feature film Eye Digress (aka The Special One) directed by Stephen Cookson and starring British actor Timothy Spall,[6] both also worked together in a 2011 British Christmas film My Angel. Timothy Spall is to play the lead in the film, as well as play all the other roles.[7]
The company has also helped finance Cartel, starring Craig Fairbrass, working alongside another production company Impact Entertainment. The action-thriller is currently in development.[8]
Red Rock Entertainment is also a corporate partner of Rays of Sunshine, a non-profit organization that was formed in 2003. In 2015 Red Rock Entertainment was involved in a charity event which included The X-Factor runner-up Olly Murs.[9]
