I'm in two minds as to whether wikipedia editors should have to provide their actual name. There's good arguments either way. If you need mine for some reason, you can email me.
I intend to contribute occasionally in all fields relevant to my own interests, whenever I come across something that I feel I can add to. See Athinaios (talk· contribs) or my edit count.
Articles started by Athinaios
I have added a series of 20 articles on the Foreign Archaeological Institutes in Greece. Two of those articles already existed (BSA and ASCSA) but have been modified entirely. EfA existed in a somewhat different form under a different title.
Art in ancient Greece (added painting section and bits on metal figurines and metal vessels, reorganised part of text and overhauled illustrations)
Translation
I intend to cross-translate archaeology-related articles between the English and German versions of wikipedia when I have time and where I deem it necessary. Anyone interested in such activity, including anyone who is missing specific archaeological information in either language, is encouraged to contact me.

The Berlin Gold Hat Award
I award you this Berlin Gold Hat Award for your wonderful work on German archaeology articles. I didn't realise we had a whole heap of archaeology articles missing in this encyclopedia and you are basically filling it all. Congrats ! You are now required to wear this hat on any formal occasion. Cheers, Rosenknospe (talk) 13:43, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
Congratulations! Here's a medal for you in appreciation of your hardwork in creating, expanding and nominating 25+ articles for DYK. Numbers are not important, but 25 is impressive - we take off our (gold) hats. Archaeology rules. Keep up the good work, Athinaios! --Victuallers (talk) 20:46, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
