If I use:

Now If I want to cite that source, I need to use:
<ref>{{Harvnb|Assaf|2008}}</ref>
If you want to cite the same source many times, first cite it like this
<ref name="Assaf 2008">{{Harvnb|Assaf|2008}}</ref>
and then keep on using it like this
<ref name="Assaf 2008"/>
So, Assaf said this[1] and that[1]. He also likes popcorn.[1]
If you want to cite a page as well, use it first like this
<ref name="Assaf 2008 28">{{Harvnb|Assaf|2008|p=28}}</ref>
and then keep on using this
<ref name="Assaf 2008 28"/>
Assaf said[2] that he likes popcorn.[2]
If you want to add a comment on the foonote, add it like this
<ref>{{Harvnb|Assaf|2008}} - Comment</ref>
Assaf likes popcorn.[3]
