Suggestion
Can someone change the name of this page to Lynda Davis or CookingWithLynja? I don’t know how to do it because I’m dumb SupersaurYT (talk) 18:36, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@SupersaurYT: There's an argument to made for moving the page to Lynn Yamada Davis. The policy for article titles is WP:COMMONNAME which says we should use the name that is most commonly used. Are we sure she isn't better known as Lynja? gobonobo+c 20:25, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Gobonobo: As the article creator, she is better known as Lynja - especially in her online presence. Nick DiGiovanni's final video for her is called "Goodbye Lynja". Yoshiman6464♫🥚 04:34, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that Lynja is the common name here. gobonobo+c 14:23, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Yoshiman6464, great job on this article. It received 26,000 views yesterday! I went ahead and nominated this to appear in the Recent Deaths section on the front page. I think the article could still use a description of the style and content of her videos and prose mentioning the number of subscribers she has. The lead could also be expanded to summarize the main points of the article. Anything else? gobonobo+c 14:23, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I’m not Yoshiman but Lynja is an absolute legend and should be on the recent deaths page R.I.P SupersaurYT (talk) 18:41, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Gobonobo: Thank you so much for the nomination. I wanted to create this article since nobody has ever made one in her life time. I was thinking of making one, being one of her over nine million subscribers. I can at least mention the editing style. Yoshiman6464♫🥚 22:38, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop changing this
“Lynja”’s full name is Lynn Yamada Davis. Whoever is changing this needs to stop. Her last name is Davis, not Yamada. Yamada is her middle name. Ryan Manzo Yatez (talk) 02:21, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Ryan Manzo Yatez. The parts of the article you keep changing are for her birth name. She was not born with her married name. The infobox field "birth_name" and the first mention of her name in the early life section should remain "Lynn T. Yamada". gobonobo+c 04:31, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I Correct the edad date
Lynja dead 12 of January no 1 January MrNachox (talk) 14:55, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sources say New Year's Day: 01/01/2024.—Myasuda (talk) 15:18, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Her death was announced on the 12th; she died on the 1st. 🔥Jalapeño🔥 Stupid stuff I did 09:15, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
