Merger Proposal
The newly created article Annual average GDP growth seems to more or less duplicate the function of this page, so I propose they be merged. Note, I'm not an economist so may be missing some distinction between the two.--ThePaintedOne (talk) 12:06, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm just going to go ahead a redirect it here, as it's a low quality page and a POV fork. LK (talk) 08:59, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
This page needs major cleanup as well. Firstly, all the debt stuff should be removed. And secondly, real GDP figures should be used, not nominal GDP figures. regards, LK (talk) 09:14, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for jumping in and sorting this out, way beyond my abilities in this area! --ThePaintedOne (talk) 09:16, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
why bother changing it to PPP GPD figures - when both have a significance? why not open another one with that data as well. the nominal GDP tells you the extent of the GDP change - without trying to normalize the currency value which may add errors.(Aviadi21) 17:19, 17 May 2011 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aviadi21 (talk • contribs)
