Are there any online histories or information about Fijian troops' involvement fighting for the Allies during World War II? I understand Fiji sent troops to fight in the Solomon Islands campaign. I'm looking for more information about their participation to include in the battle articles for that campaign. Cla68 07:28, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the incredibly late reply, but better late than never, I suppose. Chapter 10 in Oliver Gillespie's The Pacific (1952) covers some of the Fijian units and their actions. It is part of the The Official History of New Zealand in the Second World War 1939–1945 series. It is available in full text online here.
