This information was added to the article on the OK hand gesture in 2011 (in April, May and September that year) and re-written in May 2015 (with these edits). As it referred to both the verbal and the non-verbal expression, and certainly wasn't the first use of the gesture, as claimed, I've split it out of the article there and put it here.
