Why do we have the opinion of Ocampo mentioned in the lead? It is not a place for quoting marginal individual opinions. Also, this person's reputation is controversial, and he has a tendency to call every armed conflict a genocide [1]. This opinion is not generally accepted by most other sources, so I don't think it should be mentioned in the lead. Grandmaster 08:20, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Third Nagorno-Karabakh War?
On September 19, 2023, there was an attempt to rename this article as the "Third Nagorno-Karabakh War". It was rejected based on the fact that the clashes happened very recently, and there was no evidence it would become a full-scale invasion. Now that Artsakh is clearly in Azerbaijani hands, I think it is safe to call it the Third Nagorno-Karabakh War, as it has the significance of being a clear end to the conflict. Are there reliable sources that use this term? signed, Rosguilltalk 22:35, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I could find more if I wished, but these are both from established news sources. Game2Winter (talk) 03:07, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The second source does not say "Third Nagorno-Karabakh War", it says "a third Nagorno-Karabakh war", which is not the same. The sources are also rather obscure, and the first one is an advocacy group, not a news publication. signed, Rosguilltalk 03:06, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Belligerents
The table of belligerents on the Artsakh/Armenia side should include the Armed Forces of Armenia, as several border troops were gunned down by Azeri forces within Armenia proper. 142.117.133.114 (talk) 00:26, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Although I have noticed that Armenia–Azerbaijan border crisis lists the number of dead separately. The two conflicts overlap, although it appears some offensive action took place concurrently to the one mentioned in the present article. Should we keep them completely separate? 142.117.133.114 (talk) 00:36, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. I don't think the proposed name is widely used. In fact, I have not seen any mainstream source using this name. Grandmaster 13:03, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
