Susan Thompson (born 10 October 1969), usually known professionally as Sue Thompson, is a Scottish former professional pool player.

an obsession from the moment a friend invited her into her father's pub for a game when she was just 14.
The following year she acquired a table of her own. Between the ages of 15 and 19, she played pool 12 hours a day [2]
Won European 8ball champ on her 24th birthday, retaining title[1]
won 16 of 18 frames and topped team averages
Aged 42, began playing at 14, retired due to arthritis
world record for clearing all 15 balls in 37 seconds, will continue to play exhibitions in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support
