Hola fellow participants of WikiProjet Mexico! |

I received the following threat on my talk page: |

You may not be aware of how the process works. You made a controversial edit, it was reverted. You do NOT continue to move the articles name. If you wish to have the article moved, you should use the WP:RM process. I advise you to move the article back immediately, before I file an edit warring report.--<font color="#A81933">JOJ</font> <font color="#CC9900">Hutton</font> 18:42, 10 July 2015 (UTC) |

# I boldly reverted the unilateral moves performed by a now gone users related to Baja California, see : Talk:Municipalities of Baja California#Page moves by gone user, among these reversions was Baja California -> Baja California (state). Reasons for that latter move, have been documented at the talk page. |
|||
# Jojhutton reverted: 16:48, 10 July 2015 Jojhutton (talk | contribs) m . . (46,402 bytes) (0) . . (Jojhutton moved page Baja California (state) to Baja California over redirect: Do not agree with previous undiscussed move. There is no evidence of confusion.) |
|||
# I reverted, addressing the misinformed "There is no evidence of confusion". My edit summary "Evidence is at the talk page, please don't disrupt the clean up process" |
|||
# Jojhutton reverted again: Use the RM process. Articles should only be moved without discussion if there is no opposition. |
|||
# I reverted again, addressing the fact, that the only known opposition was misinformed: over redirect: no opposition, beside a misinformed (user received clarification), known |
|||
Then the above threat. Now, I think that Jojhutton ignores Wikipedia:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle, which states, that one should be explicit about the reasons for a revert. S/he didn't gave a valid reason, except for a misinformed one that was addressed and the a procedural one that does not apply. Or can one revert without any content issues? Cochineal FAR
I have nominated Cochineal for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets featured article criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Delist" the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 18:30, 30 April 2015 (UTC)
Voluntariado Cultural medal
The artiole on Maurice Cotterell claims that he was a recipient of the "Voluntariado Cultural medal", presented by the president of Mexico. I can find nothing about this alleged medal. Any help from specialists in Mexican culture would be appreciated. Paul B (talk) 22:19, 6 May 2015 (UTC)
Please see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Florencia Sánchez Morales, where this WikiProject may be able to help determine notability of the person in question.-War wizard90 (talk) 03:43, 22 May 2015 (UTC)
Translation of Escuandureo from es.wikipedia
The article 2015 Michoacán shootout is being discussed at Wikipedia:In the news/Candidates#Mexican shootout.
Es.wikipedia has this article Ecuandureo (Michoacan), I've added a google translated version of the lead section to Escuandureo, would very much appreciate someone fixing this up and translating.
Thanks. -- Aronzak (talk) 02:00, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
You are invited to participate in Wiki Loves Pride!
- What? Wiki Loves Pride, a campaign to document and photograph LGBT culture and history, including pride events
- When? June 2015
- How can you help?
- 1.) Create or improve LGBT-related articles and showcase the results of your work here
- 2.) Upload photographs or other media related to LGBT culture and history, including pride events, and add images to relevant Wikipedia articles; feel free to create a subpage with a gallery of your images (see examples from last year)
- 3.) Contribute to an LGBT-related task force at another Wikimedia project (Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons, Wikivoyage, etc.)
Or, view or update the current list of Tasks. This campaign is supported by the Wikimedia LGBT+ User Group, an officially recognized affiliate of the Wikimedia Foundation. Remember, Wiki Loves Pride is about creating and improving LGBT-related content at Wikimedia projects, and content should have a neutral point of view. One does not need to identify as LGBT or any other gender or sexual minority to participate. This campaign is about adding accurate, reliable information to Wikipedia, plain and simple, and all are welcome!
If you have any questions, please leave a message on the campaign's main talk page.
Thanks, and happy editing!
Sierra de Guadalupe cave paintings
Hi I am new to the Mexico project. I was going through random articles and came across this stub. It interested me so I researched it, added citations, added text and linked the article to Mulega, Baja California and rock art pages. I would appreciate some feedback if possible. Thanks!
