:At that point we're giving readers four different options for technical support - those three, and the village pump. Of those four options, one is an unfamiliar maze that requires our readers to surface their email addresses (frankly I don't think we ''should'' be recommending people use it until that is fixed), two require people to edit, and one is, well, OTRS. Based on the sort of bugs we get through OTRS ("your site gave me a virus!!!!!") I'm not sure if you guys would even want it transferred to bugzilla in the first place. Fun, Friendly, Family, Fast and Focused Events |

[http://www.f3events.co.uk F3 Events] was set up in 2006 to organise, deliver and provide first class sporting events along the Thames Valley to aspiring athletes from complete beginners to elites. The team at F3 Events have nearly all raced at a high level in triathlon and cycling and understand the necessary requirements to implement a successful event. |
|||
Our mission is to provide recognisable and professionally managed events from grass roots upwards at an affordable level which is accessible to all. |
|||
The sporting world is continually growing, with more and more of the population looking to get fit and take up a challenge to provide that healthier lifestyle. It is this that makes it important to F3 Events that each and every event is a success and plays an active role in being an ambassador for sport along the Thames Valley now and in the future. |
|||
This has been demonstrated over recent years, with many events throughout the year being organised at the Olympic Rowing venue for 2012, Dorney Lake, in addition to receiving continued support from many local authorities, highways agency, rivers authority and environmental agency. |
|||
Most importantly this has been shown by the number of participants that continue to take part in F3 Events and business that want to get involved and play an active role in promoting the events. |
|||
Over the past few years, F3 Events have delivered more events in new locations that had never previously been used for sporting events, triathlons or open water swimming events. |
|||
Noticeable venues are in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, Henley on Thames and Royal Windsor, Berkshire. |
|||
Noticeable locations and events that have provided a strong hold along the Thames Valley is Marlow - with the Open Water Swimming Events and triathlons, Henley On Thames at Shiplake College for both open water swimming and triathlon events and finally Royal Windsor at the foot of Windsor Castle where F3 Events organised the first ever open water swimming event. |
|||
All these events are based along the banks of the River Thames and are located on the same route that David Walliams used for his record breaking swim along the Thames in 2011. |

Bug 31591
We have 2 html div's on this page with the following style definitions which are causing issues on the mobile site (see https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31591): 1) float: left; width: 49%; margin-right: 1%; 2) float: right; width: 49%; margin-left: 1%;
We actually have css classes which do this and are more mobile resilient:
.portal-column-left .portal-column-right
Could someone with permission to edit this page replace the style attributes on these div with
class="portal-column-left"
and
class="portal-column-right"
respectively?
Also after the last div to clear the floating is probably necessary
Rename license section
I propose we rename the section with the header "Licensing" into "Copy and reuse". That is more in line with the other headers which also deal more with intent rather than technical details. —TheDJ (talk • contribs) 09:01, 15 March 2013 (UTC)
Comment
The graphic showing the talk tab is basically useless. It just shows a floating couple of tabs, out of context. A wider view of a page would be more helpful. This is exacerbated by the fact that if you look for those two tabs on the contact us page.... you won't find them. Philippe Beaudette, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 21:09, 19 March 2013 (UTC)
Add Technical Support Links
I have been investigating how users who have technical issues get to the right place for support, specifically how they would get to Wikimedia's bug tracker, Bugzilla.
I looked at how the support pages linked in the side bar under "Interaction" relate to each other, and I found that users looking for technical support starting with the pages linked at the sidebar are not clearly directed to pages that would provide technical support.
I realize that users, new users especially, may be hesitant to create a Bugzilla account and file a report, so I would like to modify Contact us - Readers to include links to Bugzilla, Village Pump (Technical), and Bug reports and feature request.
I welcome your thoughts and suggestions. -Valeriej (talk) 07:07, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
