Myrta Jane Pulliam (born June 20, 1947, in Indianapolis, Indiana) is the granddaughter of Eugene C. Pulliam, former publisher of the Indianapolis Star, and the daughter of Eugene S. Pulliam, Star publisher from 1975 to 1999. She has worked as a journalist in Indianapolis and Phoenix, winning a Pulitzer Prize for her contributions to a 1974 series of Star stories on police corruption.
A co-founder of Investigative Reporters and Editors, Inc., Pulliam is also a past board member. She's also a half-first cousin of former US Vice President Dan Quayle.
