Totalitarian architecture refers to the type of architecture created by totalitarian regimes.[1] It is typically designed to be imposing and large in size to portray a sense of power, majesty and virility.[1]
Its most notable exponents were Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, Imperial Japan and the Soviet Union.
