DescriptionNational Maritime Museum, FHD0027 - Figurehead of the Friar Tuck (1856).jpg
English: In December 1863 the Liverpool tea-clipper Friar Tuck was sheltering in St. Mary's Roads, Isles of Scilly, when hurricane-force winds drove it onto Newford Island.
Chinese geese which live on Tresco today are descendants of those that came ashore from this wreck.
In the Valhalla Museum in Tresco Abbey Gardens, Isles of Scilly.
