Summary
Description |
Screenshot from the film which is the subject of the article. |
---|---|
Source |
transferred digitally from personal copy of the video. |
Article | |
Portion used |
single frame from 9 minute cartoon. |
Low resolution? |
Yes. |
Purpose of use |
for discussion/analysis of the film. It is difficult to visualize without a screenshot of some sort. This is presented merely for encyclopedic reference. |
Replaceable? |
any screenshot would do; this one gives a good indication of the style. To the best of my knowledge, no cover exists solely for "Grasshoppers" as it is only released as part of a compilation commmercially, therefore no DVD cover can be used. |
Other information |
I fixed my non-free fair use rationale to the original file, but apparently not in time to save it from deletion. Does it not fall into this category?: "It is believed that the use of a limited number of web-resolution screenshots * for critical commentary and discussion of the film and its contents * on the English-language Wikipedia, hosted on servers in the United States by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation, qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law" I hope my rationale is valid here... after researching all the rules, I think it is. Perhaps I didn't detail everything enough the first time...? |
