Summary
Description |
Caption of original image: The Holy Name Society at Kalaupapa, 1920s. The only people who can currently be positively identified in the photograph are Father Martin Dornbush (center) and Brother Materne Laschet (to the left, seated, holding his hat). It is likely that Ambrose Hutchison is in this photo, due to his position in the church. Resemblance to other Hutchison family members has led them to feel strongly that Ambrose is the man seated next to Father Martin, second from the right. He would have been in his sixties at the time. |
