::::::::::As said above, this request can be granted. However, you did not respond to two of my questions at all (1. “Actually, what would have been wrong with waiting for User:NightFalcon90909's explanation?” 2. “Generally speaking, what's wrong with waiting until that one answers the question, who was asked?”). As it seems to be quite evident that you simply don't want to understand what the problem is, I doubt there would be much sense in discussing this further. Indeed, disappointing. —αἰτίας •discussion• 23:26, 14 November 2008 (UTC) |

:::::::::::We'll I've tried to be diplomatic and it didn't work so I'll be blunt. There was no point waiting for the answer because if you'd done your job properly and reviewed the contribution in full you'd have seen the answer. After that it becomes moot. Disapointing you can't see that. Pedro : Chat 09:50, 15 November 2008 (UTC) |

Rollback ()

- I'd like to be able to use Huggle for anti-vandalism purposes, as I have done with VandalProof in the past. Minkus (talk) 07:49, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
User:ESanchez013
- ESanchez013 (talk · contribs · deleted · count · AfD · logs · block log · lu · rfar · spi) I would appreciate the access to this feature to ease in the persistent strings of vandalism, rather than manually Diffs-out their "great" additions. ←Signed:→Mr. E. - Currently, I revert with Undo and this (Huggle) sounds neat, check my edits. eGGz (talk) 20:07, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
- Not done You do have nearly no experience in reverting vandalism. I may recommend using tools like Twinkle or undo in order to gain some experience in this area before reapplying. —αἰτίας •discussion• 20:15, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

- Looks like it would be more efficient than Twinkle. Thanks. NightFalcon90909 (talk) 18:03, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
- Pedro : Chat 21:50, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) Given the fact that I asked NightFalcon90909 and nobody else to explain his edit, I think it's more than appropriate to thank you sincerely for giving him the time to answer. So what? Just once again typical for this page. —αἰτίας •discussion• 21:57, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
- No problem. I've removed that right for a moment. I'll drop a note to the editor. Pedro : Chat 22:00, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
- I've removed the bit and tl'd this thread. I've advised the editor that this is on hold. Aitias I understand the concerns you have about somewhat instant approval but I think my diff shows where the error came in. I'm not convinced that this edit is a reason to deny the tool. It seems a simple mistake. Other comments welcomed. Pedro : Chat 22:05, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
- Pedro, I do not criticise the decision to grant rollback here. I criticise the manner, in which it was granted. And this manner is, in my opinion, a general problem. Despite my irony above —speaking seriously— I consider ignoring another admins question as highly impolite, rude and, in some way, not very considerate. Is there a big difference between a wheel war and that? No. Actually, what would have been wrong with waiting for User:NightFalcon90909's explanation? Generally speaking, what's wrong with waiting until that one answers the question, who was asked? I can't imagine a reasonable answer to this question. —αἰτίας •discussion• 22:39, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
- I was not ignoring your question. I found the answer in the further diff that it was a legitimate error by NightFalcon. I examined the edits rather than waiting on an answer that I felt would be obvious given the edit history data. And to answer your other unasked question see WP:WHEEL when you'll discover there is no wheel war at all as you have not taken any admin action. Blluntly, I'll defer to your decision but I see no reason to decline here - a good editor who needs the tool and made one "error" in using undo? If you want to discuss the problems on this page let's use talk - but let's not thrash it out disrupting a valuable editor's request and their potential valuable extra input with rollback. - As said above, this request can be granted. —αἰτίας •discussion• 23:26, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
